Australian Music Teachers and Tutors was formed in 2007 to enhance the internet exposure for music teachers and tutors in Australia. The site has been initially targetted at the Brisbane and Queensland areas as there is a recognisable short-fall on the internet when it comes to having a user-friendly web function allowing people to easily find music teachers close to home in that part of Australia.
Unlike other music teacher registers in Australia, we have a town/suburb-specific search function, which we hope will bring an additional level of user-friendliness to people searching for music teachers Australia-wide.
Our intention is to continue to provide music teachers with free listings, and we are currently looking into avenues for ensuring our costs are adequately covered to ensure the site continues.
